Welcome to SpiderLiliez! This site was born on February the 8th, 2008. Created for the purpose of sharing music, news and information. It's also a semi-personal blog where we post our daily rants and raves. Although we are unable to write everyday, we always try hard to post something interesting for our readers. News, gossip, downloads, and feature articles are always credited to their rightful owners. Although we preferred to keep our names private, I guess some of you already know who we are, and have even added one of us to your Facebooks. As our LJ suggests, you can call us SpiderLiliez. Our name was inspired by the Taiwanese film “SPIDER LILIES” starring Rainie Yang and Isabella Leong. We liked the name as it projects a strong image for women —tough, and yet beautiful. We're adults, but are very young at heart. We love DONG BANG SHIN KI, which is obvious from our journal entries. Although we are not able to fully support them like other fans; we hope that we are able to spread the word about their great works and talent through this website. In general we enjoy a lot of K-POP, but we're pretty much eclectic people, really.

This album title is similar to Japanese hip-hop/pop group LEAD’s latest album, Stand Up. But the similarity ends there, except of course that they both do hip-hop.

하루 하루, is very Big Bang. The song is reminiscent of their hit song, “LIES” where it starts with a piano and proceeds to an upbeat tempo, and of course the rapping that comes after that.

천국, is quite similar to 하루 하루 where it starts with a somber intro and eventually picks up the tempo. The chorus is quite catchy; it’s my favorite part of the song, and probably one of my favorite songs in this mini-album.

The song 착한 사람, also has that trademark, with a slow intro, then the upbeat tempo. The song is very so-so (to me), but a fanatic might think otherwise.

“Lady,” has the sexiest intro, and I find it the best song in this album just because I'm getting tired of the usual sound they make. This one is rather different in sound and style. It has the best beat, very catchy.

“Oh My Friend,” has that punk-rock feel to it, its a pretty cool song if you dig this kind of music. Not my type though. But I'm pretty sure fans will like it.

I didn't expect much from this album. I’m not a big fan of the group, but I like some of their songs, and this album has some nice ones. But I guess I’m looking for a new sound from them. I'm getting quite tired of the usual music they make. Eventually I think they'll have to re-invent themselves... soon.

Tohoshinki / TVXQ's MICKY YOOCHUN is now a "Bowl-Head"

You probably remember Jaejoong’s short stint in trying out the famous “bowl cut” a couple of months back. It didn’t last long, and he got rid of it on the next public appearance.

But apparently it was not just Jaejoong who is trying out the “mushroom cut” (aka “bowl cut”) that every Korean celebrity seem to be trying out these days.

To the surprise (and shock) of many TVXQ fans, Micky Yoochun suddenly walked out (of an establishment) sporting a dreaded bowl-cut himself. And apparently it’s indeed very very bowlish (from how it looks in the current pictures).

In fact his new hairdo is the talk of the town, and is a top search in many Korean sites. Of course pictures have leaked as well. One photo shows him talking on the phone, while walking through a parking lot. You can clearly see that he’s gotten rid of his ponytail, and with his new hair very much exposed.

Yoochun has always been one of the most daring ones when it comes to hairstyles. He’s not afraid to change his look. Apparently TVXQ will be in Korea a lot these days, and I think that has got something to do with this (Koreans seem to dig this hairdo more than anyone).

Anyway, I think Micky can pull it off with this look. I admire his bravery, hehe. Hmmm... but guess I have yet to see better pictures.

[ UPDATE! ]

Well, by now there's been new pictures of Yoochun sporting his new 'do. Below is some recent pictures with a clear view on Yoochun's bowl-cut. As expected, it doesn't look bad at all like others think it would be. It actually suits him and gives him that cute innocent look. It's like Yoochun at 7, hahaha!
