The show is named "My Sweetest Past" as it is packed with unseen footages and untold stories which will urge you to love them even more. TVXQ will open the show by starting the episode with UKnow as the leader of the group, followed by Junsu, Yoochun, Changmin, and Jaejoong on chapter 1 with 5 episodes and BoA on chapter 2.

The third chapter consisting 13 episodes are all about Super Junior, the most controversial yet successful group SM Entertainment declares. The first episode of chapter 3 starts with Park Jung Soo, aka Lee Teuk, the leader of Super Junior and the most beloved member.

All these and more about their deepest thoughts and untold stories only on SBS. Don't dare miss it.

I bet SBS is gonna get huge ratings because of this show. Although I'm not a listener of Super Junior, but I'd love to hear their stories. Actually I'd like to hear about all their stories. SM Entertainment is amazing when it comes to promoting their artists. JYP should learn from Lee So Man, hehe.

SHOW HIGHLIGHTS PETS AND CELEBS TVXQ, SUPER JUNIOR, SHINEE AND MORE...

KOREA HERALD

Stars, animals and art come together next week at Vogue Korea's 12th Anniversary Exhibition: "Fashion Pet."

Showcasing photographs of 100 celebrities and their furry friends, this charity event pays tribute to these cute little companions.

High profile celebrities Lee Hyo Lee, Uhm Jung Hwa and Kim Jung Eun will be featured in this upcoming exhibit, along with members from hit boy bands SHINee, Super Junior, and Dong Bang Shin Ki.

Committed to print by some of Korea's best photographers - KT Kim, Koo Bohn Chang, Kim Bo Ha and Cho Sei Hon to name a few - this exhibit promises to deliver more than just a Hallmark moment.

From a glossy black and white shot of Dong Bang Shin Ki member Micky Yoo Chun and his dog, to a fashion spread of actress Kim Jung Eun and her cat, viewers will be treated to an eclectic display.

But art isn't the only thing on show at this exhibit. Pet accessories from high end brands Tiffany and Co., 10 Corso Como, Juicy Couture, Mulberry, Celine, Hermes and Marc Jacobs will be up for sale. And limited edition designs by MCM, Louis Quatorze and Tomboy will also be there for the taking.

Proceeds from the sale will be donated to a veterinarians' association, said a PR representative for the show.

The exhibition runs from July 21-26 at Gallery Won in Cheongdam-dong. Admission is free.

I have always loved animals, although there are some slimy ones that I absolutely won't dare touch. Some people argue about why the heck animals had to be given such a tribute and be pampered when there are so many people who are hardly appreciated and given care of. Consider it unfair, but I think everyone including animals deserve some love too. The world is a cruel place and sadly, love isn’t everywhere.

CRUEL SCHEDULE, SUPER JUNIOR INJURED ~ "THERE IS EVEN NO TIME TO BREATHE"

Hankooki + Hangeng's Baidu Bar
Translation: miss scarlett @Asianfanatics + shinroo @BLG

Carrying both big and small injuries, the Super Junior members are active with very busy schedules.

On the 12th, Super Junior held their concert in Thailand, titled "Super Show - The 1st Asia Tour in Bangkok". Because of the concert, Yesung's old waist injury reoccured, causing Yesung to suffer difficulties during schedules. Leeteuk was also injured at the concert. While performing Leeteuk slipped, spraining his right foot. Kangin, Sungmin, and other members are still currently suffering from severe fatigue. Their injuries are due to their cruel schedules in both Korea and overseas, causing many of the members to suffer severe fatique and minor injuries.

Starting from the 8th, Super Junior bounced in a tight schedule from Korea to Japan, back to Korea, and then to Thailand. On the 8th, the group held their first fanmeeting in Japan in the Nippon Budokan, and on the 9th the members exchanged business cards with fans and had a handshake meet. After the Japan fanmeeting they returned to Korea to participate in variety show recordings, and on the 11th they immediately flew to Thailand, completing the 2nd stop for their Asia concert tour on the 12th.

In the early morning of the 13th Super Junior-Happy members, with Heechul and Kibum, flew back to Korea, not even having a moment to rest. The subgroup immediately performed on SBS's Inkigayo that same day to promote their single. Super Junior-M members, however, remained in Thailand for their fanmeeting, and it was delayed an hour because Hangeng passed out in his hotel room.

Due to the group's hectic schedules, the members' are physically exhausted, causing them to be more easily exposed to injuries. Luckily, none of their injuries are extremely serious. Fans are already very concerned over the group's tight schedules in Korea and overseas.

Group leader Leeteuk stated, "Our schedules are now all around Asia. Many of our members are now getting injured. Our bodies may not be well, but after receiving so many support from fans, we feel delighted and happy while working on our schedules."

Next month on the 15th Super Junior will participate in "SMTOWN LIVE '08" that will be held in the Seoul Jamsil Stadium. The same concert will soon stop by Beijing, Shanghai, and Bangkok. Super Junior's Asia concert tour schedule will also continue.

Tsk tsk, the poor boys, they must be very exhausted. I hope SM gives them a breather at least. But you know, they're probably NOT YET used to traveling back and forth and jumping from country to country unlike their SM Town seniors. The schedule and all the work must have shocked their bodies.

But it's true that Asian artists work much longer (and harder mostly) compared to Western singers and musicians. A tight budget forces them to accept and attend more gigs, thus a tight grueling schedule. Now that Super Junior has reached their Japanese fans, they probably have to train more, especially on their live performances. Which means, they cannot go on performing lip syncs, as they'll be forced to perform their SMP (SM Power SM Music Performance) songs live.

But I can only hope they can rest enough for every hard days work. I wish them well in touring Japan and the rest of Asia.

SUPER JUNIOR-H, WONDER GIRLS, ETC., PARTICIPATE IN ANTI-SMOKING CAMPAIGN MV
WONDERLAND

Super Junior H, Wonder Girls plus 16 other singers will join forces to film a MV for the Ministry for Health Welfare and Family Affairs anti smoking campaign.

The Ministry for Health Welfare and Family Affairs expressed: To promote our 2008 anti smoking campaign, “Say No, Save Life!” campaign, we have invited Super Junior, Wonder Girls plus 16 other popular singers in Korea to join in the filming of the “Say No” MV which will be subsequently broadcast on tv. The various singers and groups will sing the campaign song (which you can hear on the official website) with the “Say No” stickers on palm, etc.

The MV version starring Super Junior will be shown through SBS Inkigayo on 6th July while the Wonder Girls version will be shown a week later on 13th July. The versions featuring other singers will be shown subsequently.

The MV can also be viewed through the “Say No” official website. ( click here )

Although already in my mid-20s, I never tried smoking again since I tried it out when I was 10. I am thankful I got traumatized by the taste and feel of it that I am loathing it for the rest of my life. Haha!

As a supporter of any anti-smoking movement, I am happy to know that KPOP stars like SJ-H and Wonder Girls are supporting this anti-smoking campaign. Young people need role models that they can follow. These celebrities should now be careful that they don't get caught smoking at all. You know how cruel critics and netizens are.

SUPER JUNIOR KIM HEECHUL IN HOSPITAL

ALLKPOP
By: De La Methode

Another day, another Super Junior member in the hospital. This time however, it was scheduled. Super Junior member Kim Hee Chul was at the Samsung Medical Center in Seoul today to undergo surgery on his left leg to remove iron rods (removing the only rod in his body). This is the third surgery on the same leg.

If you didn't know, Kim Hee Chul was in a pretty serious car accident about 2 years ago. He had five fractures in his left leg and required a 6 hour trip to the emergency room for surgery.

Kim Hee Chul's surgery was a success, and he is currently resting at the hospital. He is scheduled to undergo another treatment at the hospital in a month.

Ouch~ I didn't know he broke his leg before, that must have bothered him a lot for the past couple of years, especially when he needs to perform SMP songs with his group. Hope his leg fully recovers soon so he can get back to all his SUJU business and other activities that he's been doing. Well good luck to him!

FANCLUB DISPUTES CAUSES INJURIES

SpiderLiliez LiveJournal
By: SpiderLiliez
Photo: DNBN

As you know, the news and rumors concerning this issue is getting uglier and uglier by the day. Recent accounts are saying that it has gotten to a point where several fans even submitted to using violence against fans from other fan clubs.

There has been a report about an E.L.F. member being stabbed allegedly by a boy who was rumored to be a supporter of a female girl group (rumored to be SNSD). There have also been reports of other fights between different fan club members resulting to more injuries.

A fan who claimed he/she witnessed two (2) boys sitting in front of her, one boy was reportedly holding a knife that he was purposely showing off to other people of other fan clubs. Netizens are assuming that what has been done (the stabbing incident) was a payback for those they say at fault, blaming fans and sometimes artists all together.

Despite all the good bits that SBS aired yesterday on the Dream Concert broadcast, the whole event has already been tarnished. If you have been deeply troubled by all these reports, you don’t have to believe everything mentioned in this article. But one thing’s for sure, these fights between fan clubs is getting way out of hand.

Artists’ management companies (specifically SM Entertainment) can’t just sit around and not do something about it. After all, these official fan clubs were initially set upped by these companies. So really, they should have “a say” to all these fiasco. The artists themselves also have to advice their fan clubs, since they (the fans) will likely listen to them. Parents need to do something about it too.

In addition to this article, what we are showing you below are pictures of a boy holding what seemed to be a knife during the concert. We provided the link of the entry from a Korean blog relating these pictures, plus read the English translation ( see link below ).

DREAM CONCERT 2008 ~ SHOWCASES UNNECESSARY FAN BEHAVIOR

SpiderLiliez LiveJournal
By: SpiderLiliez

Korea’s Dream Concert just finished a few hours later this evening (June 7, 2008). There seem to have been some bad incidents that have happened before and during the event. Some fans attending the concert appear to have another agenda than just watching their favorite artists on stage. These fans wanted show their disgust to other artists and their fan clubs, like messing up other fan clubs banners which also happened in last year's Asia Song Festival between TVXQ and FT Island fans.

Some fan reports that Girls Generation (SNSD) were repeatedly booed, and during their performances, they were not cheered on by most of the audience except for their fan club of course. Another incident involving SNSD fans and Super Junior’s E.L.F. fan club seem to have shocked some of the audience as well as netizens. Some Super Junior fans who were in the second level reportedly poured water on some SNSD fans who were seated below. While recent accounts claim that some fan club members tore banners created by other fan clubs.

From these recent reports, the event sounded very chaotic. Reports of fans jumping off the barriers who wanted to get close on the stage delayed the concert for about 30 minutes. These kind of fan behavior seem to be everywhere during events like these and it's getting worse. Whether if its all true or not, we still need to get confirmations of all these rumors.

Meanwhile favorites Dong Bang Shin Ki (TVXQ) performed their hit single "Purple Line" wearing silver and white costumes. Fans admit its refreshing seeing them performing in their white outfits. They sang live, which is awesome because when not in Japan they usually lip sync their SMP songs in big events like these in Korea.

If you were unable to attend the concert or unable watch the delayed telecast at Pandora TV, you can still catch it on SBS today (June 8). The show starts at 3:30pm to 5:10pm (Korea time). Originally the concert was three (3) hours long but SBS will broadcast the event for just 1 hour and 40 minutes which means some performances might be edited out. If you have cable and have the channel, good for you, if not you can always try watching at TVAnts ( click here ).

WHAT HAPPENED TO FAN CULTURE?
Below are some of the latest news and gossip from Korean (and non-Korean) media regarding the recent Dream Concert incidents.

DISAPPOINTED IN SOTAKU AND CATRIEL'S FAN BATTLE
MK.co.kr
Translation: jstn @soshified.com/forums

Lack of preparation, staff and management resulted in injuries at the 14th annual Dream Concert.

The Korean Entertainment Production Association hosted the music festival, "I Love Korea! Dream Concert 2008" on June 7th at the Seoul JamSil Olympic Stadium with DBSK, Wonder Girls, Super Junior, Epik High, ss501, MC Mong and 20 other singers.

The concert attracted 50,000 fans which was higher than the expected volume and resulted in chaos due to lack of secruity and safety officers hired by the management.

Fans rushed towards the empty seats on the ground near the front of the stage soon after the concert began. The rush resulted in injuries and the concert had to be stopped to re-organize the infield.

Disputes between the fanclubs was also a problem.

The dispute began when DBSK's fanclub Casseopia, SS501's fanclub Triple S and SuJu's fanclub ELF (CaTriEl) demonstrated a 10 minutes of silence during the performance of SNSD as a retaliation against the mostly male based SNSD fanclub.

It was also found that a male-based fanclub of Wonder Girls (Wonderful) indirectly supported the demonstration which lead to a battle between the fanclub cultures. Also, using the variation of "otaku", SNSD fans are being referred as "SoTaku" and Wonder Girls fans as "WonTaku" by its rival fanclubs.

Fans are voicing their opinions on the '10 minute silence' incident. They were quoted, "Fights occur when two groups are equally at fault" and "There is nothing to be proud of the fact that the two groups are involved in this confrontation but SNSD fans should sincerely apologize for their violent behaviour against other fans (physically) and CaTriEl should officially apologize to the singers or to the fans for their '10 minute silence' incident" and that instead of pointing fingers, they should respect each other as a sign of being a mateur fan.

SNSD'S SILENCE, AND DANGEROUS BEHAVIOUR. WHAT HAPPENED TO FAN CULTURE?
NEWSPRIME.co.kr
Translation: jstn @soshified.com/forums

The crowd of 50000 overwhelmed the anticipated numbers and caused accidents at the Dream Concert which took place at the Seoul Olympic Main Stadium.

The immateur behaviour of the fanclubs was frowned upon.

The accidents began with the destruction of the fence due to the competition of the 'good' seats. The absence of safety awareness was clearly revealed by their actions. Few fans were injured and the concert was delayed for 20 minutes to clear out the area and move the wounded to the ambulance.

That was not the end. The confrontation between the fanclubs also ruined the performance atmosphere.

The media has indicated that the fanclub culture has lost its intent when other rival fanclubs kept silent during SNSD's performance.

The 10 minutes of silence during the SNSD's performance by the male-group fanclubs was clearly visible and revealed the current situation of our (Korea's) fan culture's lack of etiquette and manners.

Dream Concert festival which has been running for over 10 years have simply turned into a battleground for fanclubs rather than a celebration and a get-together of music fans. Majority of the people agree that a change in the behavour of fanclubs is needed.

JEALOUS B**CHES BOYCOTT GIRLS GENERATION
ALLKPOP
By: johnnydorama

The I Love Korea 2008 Dream Concert which was held on the 7th to boost Korean patriotism, instead only boosted the hostility between fan clubs.

During the opening of the concert, approximately 20 fans were injured and rushed to the hospital. The injuries occurred as fan clubs were fighting over their idols as well as for seats.

To make matters worse, while Girls' Generation performed for a duration of 10 minutes, all of the male idol group fan clubs (fat ugly girls) turned off their glow sticks, as well as "boo-ed" the girls.

Korea's fandom is quite ridiculous, as was the purpose of this concert. I'm sure the male boy bands weren't very appreciative of the nasty behavior that came about from their own fan clubs, then again, even when on their best behavior, who would be happy to be cheered on by thousands of ugly chicks?

One things for sure, if I were in an idol band, I'd make extra sure to never fall victim to those notorious beer goggles.

Well, I'll try to review this later. To give you a quick idea, the album is very bubble gum pop. For now, here is YesAsia's detailed album review below.

If you can't get enough of Super Junior, you're in for a major treat as Super Junior - Happy, the fourth sub-unit to spin out of the popular boy band, releases their very first mini album playfully entitled Cooking? Cooking! Comprised of members Lee Teuk, Ye Sung, Kang In, Shin Dong, Sung Min, and Eun Hyuk, Super Junior - Happy offers electrifying dance music and amusing choreography, just in time for the exciting summer break! The album's titular track Cooking? Cooking! (track 1) is an enchanting dance number that speaks dreamily of waking up to a delectable breakfast in bed prepared by a lover. Showing all the signs of becoming the "it" song of 2008, the song comes with cute, lovable dance choreography that complements the song's cheerful mood. ~ Review by YesAsia

SUPER JUNIOR-M MIGHT GET A NEW MEMBER

Super Junior Forum
By: super doper love + Nikki@AF

Some news have been surfacing in Korea on LSM demanding SJ-M member Zhou Mi to work harder. It has been said Zhou Mi currently has yet to meet the performance standards and therefore now has a high chance of being replace.

SM officials who have been monitoring SJ-M expressed they feel Zhou Mi lacks some needed energy while on stage compared to the rest. If Zhou Mi does not reach that expected standards soon he will be replace by the end of July.

Hankyung's close friend, this Chinese designer living in Korea, 孝培 posted a message and said that he met Geng recently and they talked about anything under the sun, and that Geng said he was going back right after Dream Concert.

Since SM officials are judging Zhou Mi based on his performance on stage it very likely SJ-M will be returning to China for more activities before Super Show Thailand.

This news article is all too tabloidy. It's all rumors and no specific proof to back its content. I've never watched Super Junior-M's performances, so I really have no idea what they're saying about Zho Mi's lack of energy, if it really is true. But people don't need to get all worked up about it. Plus, I don't think they'd easily replace a member just like that, unless he becomes really sick or leaves the group by his own accord.

SUPER JUNIOR-H DEBUTS JUNE 7 AT DREAM CONCERT

By: miss scarlet@soompi + cherryblossoms@wordpress

Super Junior-H
are confirmed to make their first appearance at the 2008 DREAM CONCERT on June 7, 2008, performing their title track, 요리왕 (COOKING? COOKING!)”

Super Junior-Happy (SJ-H) is the fourth Super Junior subgroup after Super Junior-K.R.Y (SJ-KRY), Super Junior-T (SJ-T), and Super Junior-M (SJ-M), formed by SM Entertainment. The six members includes Leeteuk (SJ-T), Yesung (SJ-KRY), Kangin (SJ-T), Shindong (SJ-T), Sungmin (SJ-T), and Eunhyuk (SJ-T).

On the 30th, SM announced that, like the name of the group, they will be peforming quick and refreshing songs, giving the fans a feeling of bliss and happiness.

Super Junior-Happy’s first mini album will be available in June 5. The title track is a dance song entitled 요리왕 (COOKING? COOKING!)” (yoriwang: Cook King). Their mini album jacket theme is a pajama party with a cooking theme. It has a total of 28 pages.

The song is a story about a youth stumbling upon interesting things as he thinks about cooking for his girlfriend.
Super Junior-H has been a project they have been secretly working on in the past few months. They unofficially debuted on May 3, 2008 (Yedang Online ‘POWER CONCERT’) although they didn’t introduce themselves as Super Junior-H at the time.

People have been asking about this; "Why aren’t Hee Chul and Ki Bum in any Super Junior sub-groups at the moment?" Heechul will (eventually) have his own individual activities to pursue. He is also on a break at the moment. Kibum has an ongoing drama to film so he’s too busy to be in a subgroup. Also, Kibum explained before that he’s not planning to join any Super Junior subgroups because he wants to focus more in his acting career. He will be only doing his singing activities with the main group. However, that MAY change in the future, so we cannot be so sure.

Well, there you go, hope that answers all your questions. I'm not really updated with Super Junior's activities, so posting these news for you guys helps me get to know them more. Would be interesting to hear their mini album. Guess Super Junior-M is still really busy in China these days.

THE STRUGGLE OF LESS POPULAR MEMBERS IN IDOL GROUPS

CoolSmurf Domain
By: CoolSmurf

Idol groups, So Nyeo Shi Dae and Super Junior are currently two of the most definite idol groups active. Both groups have large number of members and have a total of 22 members if you add them up.

Super Junior - Hee Chul, Han Kyung, Ye Sung, Kangin, Shin Dong, Sung Min, Eun Hyuk, Dong Hae, Shi Won, Ryeo Wook, Ye Sung, Kyu Hyun and Lee Teuk

So Nyeo Shi Dae - Tiffany, YoonA, Jessica, Seo Hyun, Soo Young, Yuri, Sunny, Hyo Yeon and Tae Yeon

Although So Nyeo Shi Dae, Super Junior, etc enjoys immense popularity, but because of the many members, the ones who are able to take center stage belongs to just a selected few. The other members can only stand by the side and become “extras”. And those members who aren’t as popular has to fight for their survival in the competitive industry through other areas in order to raise their profile and popularity. Thus, they engage in hosting, acting, etc to make a name for themselves and constantly reminds the public that they are around. Anyway, each member has their distinct personality but are displaying it out in many areas of the entertaiment industry.

[ 1 ] ~ Popular members are always busy

So Nyeo Shi Dae member, YoonA is busy filming her daily drama, “You’re my Destiny” starting from early May and is now embarking on her acting career. Another member, Tiffany is often seen in product endorsements and CFs because of her fresh wholesome appearance. She is also kept busy with her numerous appearances on variety shows.

Kim Hee Chul and Kangin has also established with their sharp wit and talking skills. Although they debuted as singers, their
numerous identities as hosts, etc has definitely raised their profile.

[ 2 ] ~ Less popular members kept busy by improving themselves

Then what about the other members? Although they are in the same group, but alas, they just aren’t that popular and they number more than the ones who are always in the spotlight. But still they preservere on in many other areas, hoping that one day, their hard work and effort would pay off in the long run.

From 4pm onwards on 28th May, all So Nyeo Shi Dae members with the exception of YoonA went through two hours of vocal training. Super Junior Ye Sung and Sung Min went through two hours of song composition lessons on 26th May before another three hours of vocal practise on 29th May.

They all hope that through this, their scope of performing would be widened.

Meanwhile, for So Nyeo Shi Dae member, Soo Young underwent two hours of acting training from 7pm onwards on 26th May. On the same day from 10am to 5pm and from 8am to 2pm on 28th May, she was busy filming her movie.

Although these “extras” don’t appear often or at all on KBS, MBC, SBS, etc, they treat every opportunity to appear on cable programs preciously. Super Junior’s Sung Min, Paran’s Neo are all using their hosting gigs on cable programs to raise their profile. Jewelry’s Ha Joo Yeon and Kim Eun Jung are doing the same thing likewise, being active on a program through cable channels.

[ 3 ] ~ Relations between popular and less popular members

But with the huge disparity in popularity and opportunities, won’t there be problems between members in the group? This has always been a huge headache for management agencies who will always try to provide equal opportunities for them to shine. According to someone from Paran’s management, “When they just debuted, all competed furiously to become the most popular member so you could imagine the tension between them then. But through time and working with each other, they are now like brothers.”

Jewelry who welcomed two new members to their group faced the same issue. Kim Eun Jung expressed her understanding of their management for arranging them to be on programs, “Our nunas (Park Jung Ah and Seo In Young) have been in the business longer than us and thus they are more well-known then us. They have more programs to go to and a larger fanbase, that’s a given.”

I'm guessing this article / issue was brought up because of the recent rumored suicide attempt of a idol group member. Netizens have been speculating that "HE" could be from Super Junior, while other say he might be from Shinhwa (which sounds impossible, since they don't live together anymore, as referred to the suicide attempt report). To those who are itching to ask, it's definitely not Dong Bang Shin Ki, since they don't do DJ-ing and hosting (please refer to my previous post), they're very busy with their group schedule.

But back to the article, sad but true, but groups will always have this issue, especially the bigger ones like Super Junior and So Nyeo Shi Dae (SNSD). Its impossible for each member to have the same level of popularity as the others. These less popular members would surely feel a sense of insecurity towards the others, thus could psychologically pressure them if they continue to become bothered by it.

SUPER JUNIOR-M HOLDS BACK TEARS TO ENCOURAGE SICHUAN VICTIMS

Mingpao News
Translation: miss scarlett @AsianFanatics
Edits: SpiderLiliez

7-membered group with Chinese and Korean members, Super Junior-M's popularity in the Mainland and the rest of Asia is rising continuously. Recently they attended the 5th annual "Music King" awards show that was held in Macau and won the Asia's Most Popular New Group award. On Monday they came to Hong Kong for promotion and did an interview with us.

Korea's 13-membered boy band Super Junior debuted in 2005 with great success. This year, their company SM Entertainment released the new subgroup, Super Junior-M. "M" is derived from the English word "Mandarin", obviously showing their entire focus to the Mainland market.

This team of Chinese and Korean members consists of five of Super Junior's original members, which includes the Chinese Hankyung, Korean Siwon, Kyuhyun, Donghae, Ryeowook, and the addition of two Chinese rookies, Zhoumi and Henry.

CANCELS WORK TO PARTICIPATE IN DISASTER RELIEFS

Due to the recent big earthquake in Sichuan, Super Junior-M are busy with attending disastrous relief functions in the Mainland, resulting in a cancelation of many previously scheduled performances. Last week they attended an auction event in Hunan and donated the money they have won from a game show.

Band leader Hankyung expresses that aside from suffering harsh living conditions, the victims are also under heavy pressure psychologically and they need help from others.

Not long after the earthquake he communicated with some Sichuan fans over the phone, encouraging them to be strong. He says, "That Sichuan fan was very sad because her sister was missing, so I consoled her over the phone. At that time I also felt very grief, but I held back my tears."

HOPES TO HOLD SHOWS IN HONG KONG

Since Super Junior-M is from the combination of Chinese and Korean members, how can they communicate? Hankyung joined Super Junior in 2005 so his Korean is already very fluent. Among the Korean members, it seems that Siwon, who has acted in the Chinese-language film "A Battle of Wits", has the best Chinese.

Donghae
says that he is effortly learning Chinese. He can now pick up some Chinese single words in speech at his current learning stage. During the interview, he suddenly burst out a Chinese phrase, "interesting" to highten the atmosphere. No wonder Hankyung said that Donghae is the most playful member of the group.

Member Zhoumi previously attended college in Zhuhai so he can understand some Cantonese. He is even more familiar with Hong Kong's singers as he expresses that he really admires Khalil Fong and Janice Vidal. Siwon then says that he hopes to work with "A Battle of Wits" co-stars Andy Lau and Sammy Hung again.

They say they will hold tightly to any performance opportunities; there will also be a chance when the members will film movies individually. Currently they are preparing for their Asia tour show and they definitely want to hold a show in Hong Kong. Fans will have to wait and see.

Though I am not a fan of Super Junior in general, they've really earned my respect. It's annoying how people make fun and criticize their efforts to help. There are still a lot of people ignorant about the scale and effects of the disaster. I really pity them. I hope that Super Junior-M and other celebrities who stepped in to help, can inspire the masses to do something and help their own way.

SUPER JUNIOR'S NEW SUBGROUP REVEALED, "SUPER JUNIOR - HAPPY"

NEWSEN
Translation: miss scarlett @Asianfanatics; BLG

13-member boy band Super Junior produces another subgroup, "Super Junior - Happy.

Super Junior - Happy is the fourth Super Junior subgroup after Super Junior-K.R.Y, Super Junior-T, and Super Junior-M, formed by SM Entertainment.

The six members include Leeteuk, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, and Eunhyuk.

On the 30th, SM announced that, like the name of the group, they will be peforming quick and refreshing songs, giving the fans a feeling of bliss and happiness.

Super Junior - Happy's first mini album will be available in early June.

The title track is a dance song entitled "요리왕(COOKING? COOKING!)" (Translation: Cook King [COOKING? COOKING!] ). The song is a story about a youth stumbling upon interesting things as he thinks about cooking for his girlfriend.

Honestly, I'm getting used to all these sub-groups. I won't be surprised if SM decides to make another one after this, LOL. Sub-groups keeps the rest of the group busy.

But seriously, adding a new sub-group just seem to mean that Super Junior's comeback in Korea might be delayed. And Super Junior-M is recently busy in China, especially now that they're very much involved with the relief efforts for the quake victims.

SUPER JUNIOR's DONGHAE LAUNCHES CALL, KOREAN FANS TO CONTRIBUTE TO CHINA DISASTER

Sohu Entertainment News
Translation: miss scarlett @Asianfanatics

Lee Donghae who recently expanded his career to China as a member of Super Junior-M, launched a call on his personal Korean homepage on the 24th, hoping that everyone will lend a helping hand to the victims of the Sichuan, China earthquake disaster. Many Korean fans answered his call and formed their own donation crew, and under the name "Super Junior Fan", the donations will be sent to Korea's Red Cross Foundation which will be then transferred to China.

On the 24th Donghae's personal Korean homepage wrote, "(the earthquake) is bigger than I thought... I think it needs ELF's interest, and I hope everyone will give out concerns and love. Although it happened in China and not Korea, it is not far away from us and we cannot treat this as other people's problems and not be concerned about it. This is the time when help is needed from everyone. Allow us to use our concerns and pray with love that everything will go away quickly. Everyone's true smiles will be revived..."

After reading this message, Korean fans said, "Because of the earthquake China suffered a huge loss. Our hearts do not feel well... we cannot wait longer! I think we should work together now. Please start taking real action!" The account was publicly announced to be under the name of "Lee Eunhye."

The donations will continue until June 21, and it will be ultimately sent to Korea's Red Cross Foundation under the name, "Super Junior Fan."

It feels good to hear that there are celebrities like Donghae who actually cares about what has happened in China. I pity those people who just criticize these celebrities for doing charity work. At least they are actually doing something to help right? Unlike those bored netizens who just whine about almost anything.

I'm really happy to hear that a lot of celebrities are now joining hands to help out anyway they can. The news about Jackie Chan and YG's JYP organizing a benefit concert/event is just inspiring.

Celebrities like Kang Je-Kyu, Rain, Lee Byung-hun, Song Hye-kyo, and model Kim Yu-Na, are all helping too. As well as actress/singer Jang Nara donated some of her own earnings to a charity organization in China for the rescue of disaster victims and the restoration of Sichuan Province. And then recently TVXQ who has also voiced out their concerns about the disaster. They (TVXQ) will hold their "~O~ Concert" in Shanghai which will contribute to the relief aid for the quake victims in Sichuan.

Ah~ I just hope more celebrities will do the same.

TVXQ / DBSK's U-KNOW AND SUPER JUNIOR's HEE CHUL CAUGHT RED-HANDED

ALLKPOP
By: johnnydorama

On a recent episode of SBS Star Show, TVXQ member U-Know Yunho blamed Super Junior member Kim Hee Chul for breaking up with his girlfriend.

Prior to debuting with TVXQ, U-Know had a girlfriend. Unfortunately, the relationship went to shambles when U-Know was spotted, cheating with Super Junior member Kim Hee Chul.

U-Know and Kim Hee Chul used to hangout with each other, often going to coffee shops, but it wasn't long, until U-Know's girlfriend discovered the shocking truth.

"At that time, Hee Chul used to have long hair. To make matters worse, whenever I met up with him, he always had a pink jacket on. My girlfriend at that time spotted us and mistook Hee Chul as a girl."

U-Know stated. "I tried to explain to my girlfriend that it was Hee Chul, but she didn't believe me and we ended up breaking up."

There's definitely something wrong when you're completely mistaken for a girl.

But then again, it's not uncommon in the world of Super Junior, seems like Lee Teuk isn't the only Sole Sista.

Aww~ poor Yunho... I wonder how the girl feels of letting go of Yunho because of a silly misunderstanding or should I say mistake, haha! All I can say is it's hella funny. I love variety shows cos they reveal a lot of things there about themselves and their experiences.
